is 258 enough?

One of my ultimate goals in camera gear is a panoramic camera, and Sony just came out with THIS one. It can do 258 degree panoramas... and that is nice! I'm just wondering though... should I be an early adopter, or wait and see if they come out with a 360 sometime soon...

I LOVE taking panoramic photos but have never had a camera that could do it in one exposure. That'd be a really nice and I'd say that 258 is more than enough for personal entertainment as I've rarely found a full 360 scene that had enough visual interest throughout the entirety of field to need that much a attention. Really if you need a 360 view however you could just take two photos with this camera and then bring them into Photoshop and let it merge the two together... that's how I build my panoramic photos in the first place.

Get the 258 and rotate it 110 degrees and take another picture, then use autostitch :P
