Date: 2009-03-14 09:09 pm (UTC)I'm impressed; the list is something like four time as long as I would have guessed. Although I don't know if it's fair to count as an available web browser something most recently updated in 1995.
Cyberdog was the cutest little web browser/FTP program/mail client/etcetera ever. It's to be mourned. When you moved the cursor over a link it turned into a little paw.

NCSA Mosiac, Chameleon Surfer, eWorld browser, CyberDog (ah, OpenDoc), IE (yeah, it actually was the best browser on the Mac for a while in the '90s), Netscape ('natch), Chimera/Camino, Opera, and iCab (tiny browser!). Today, Safari.

One of the last old-school programs I still run is the Pro version of Eudora 2.0 ... which has a clean, fast, text-only interface, and thus keeps all buggaboo attachments in a safe folder. I view nearly all of my email on the webmail app nowadays, but Eudora is the final archive step.
And as much as I help out on system 9 as long as I could, the web experience is pretty bleak and klunky that way now.. so I haven't used it a lot for years.
Things I miss the most?
- the clean, fast, sleek functionality of the iCab browser
- oh, and PhotoShop loading in less than 3 seconds :D
