While checking out YouTube recently, I saw that they have some 'free with ads' movies, so tonight I treated myself to one of those. It's quite rare that I just do that sort of thing any more. Most of my experiences are the interactive type, and I enjoy those very much. I guess I just wanted to try a little change of pace for once in a few months...
And zo, I looked at the comments and read the reviews for one of these movies: I Am Dragon ... and it had quite favorable reactions in the postings. I watched it tonight.
It really was quite good. Um, heads up... it is dazzlingly romantic and spiritually sensual, almost predictably, but in the end that's not a bad thing. It's a foreign movie so there's bound to be some courses it takes (on the side of blunt) that are not commonly found in stateside movies, but if you're looking for a romantic pasttime some night where you want to see a woman fall in love with a dragon, check it out.
Kind of reminds me a bit of LadyHawke, which fascinated me when it was released too ^v^
They even give you a few happily-ever-after treats at the end...

one small sidenote... if you do watch it on YouTube, be prepared to skip a lot of ads. I don't mind a few, but they are just about COMPLETELY CLUELESS when it comes to ad length and ad content. I dunno WHO would want to watch a 5 minute ad in the middle of a good movie. Traditional TV always capped them off at 2 minutes, but yeah... unless maybe you need a bathroom break, 5 minutes is way too long...
