I had a lot of very good teachers in school, and learned a great deal, mostly in English, Physics, Math, Biology, and Art.
I also know a lot of History, but not as much as I'd like... It was probably my worst subject, because I never had a really good History teacher.. and there are some gaps in my scope of knowledge therein, gaps I wish had been filled earlier. The teachers were always someone they found in a pinch, and tended to have no answers to questions, replying to those with a "just read your book again."

Tonight someone posted a link to this documentary: https://www.pbs.org/video/the-story-of-fascism-in-europe-pthanf/ and I've been watching it. I'm actually only a little over halfway through at the moment.

Of course I've seen just about all the Hitler stuff... that was very common in our books. And I also knew -some- of the tragic Mussolini rise to power also.

But when it got to the parts I never knew about Guernica, ... I was again brought to tears ;_; .
