could this work for you too?
Jul. 6th, 2007 12:52 amCan't shake the mac goodness! :D
Through years of using both mac and windows, it just makes more sense AND comfort for the fingers, the way macs have the COMMAND-X-C-V Cut-Copy-Paste series of keys all right there, where the left thumb can hit the Command Key for the operations, rather than the way on windows you have to employ your pinky to hit the Control Key to get the same operations.
So, I've finally modded the keys so that they simulate the mac layout ^V^ *purrr*
I'd already turned off the useless Caps Lock Key previously and it's been such a relief!
In addition, the windows laptop has a HOME key right next to the Backspace key, so I turned that off as well :9
The full remapping now is:
CapsLock -> OFF
Home Key -> OFF
Left Alt Key -> Control
Left Windows Key -> Alt
Right Ctrl Key -> Home
woot! *hops and flaps* :9
(p.s. a HUGE THANK YOU to
yasha_taur for his extreme computericious generosity! Yo Yash!...I just hope you know I'm nostalgic and use a few older items once in a while for image editing and for work, but I'm not stuck in the past... I'd hate for ya to think that.. eeep!
Majorly Gratitudinal HUGS again!!)
