Ya just can't win ;P
The poor bear is outside in the tree, moaning and sighing .. probably cuz he got yelled at last night for knocking our trash can over.
Wull gosh.. what are we supposed to do? :/
The useless forest service won't relocate these poor critters, which are not indigenous here, but were *released* here in the 1930s and have gotten out of hand...
I guess that's what happens when ya get an agency full of amateurs that wear badges and pretend to be professionals .. -_-

Life isn't easy for a bear... :/ *sigh*

Eeep!

Sorry to read about your bear troubles, C! A shame that the forest service can't provide you with much help and assistance, especially during a time when you really need them. Hrmph.

I hope the bear goes away soon. I'd hate to think about that bear terrorizing the neighbourhood and rummaging through your personal effects.

Sounds almost unbearable -- 'cause you haven't yet been able to un-bear. :)

eep!.. yep.. they have meetings, sort of admitting that they caused it, but pretty much offering no long term solutions.
The city now offers bear proof trash cans for an extra $4, but most people have engineered hinges and clamps onto their own trash cans that work pretty well, so the bears have it even harder to get into them. Poor bears... :/

Their population gets away from foraging naturally, and now the environment has difficulty sustaining their needs. This is where a *real* Forest Service would come in and scientifically proactively work on a solution.
