Interesting thing about labeling :>
I have a delicious package of TimTams here, from the inimitable
just2draw, which I've been savouring at one cookie per week.. and just had the last one. ^v^ *mmmmmm*
But whereas our labeling over here is in calories, their packaging shows 'energy' , and lists it as kJ ... which I assumed was kilojoules... but that must be wrong 8|
...because looking at a bottle of tangerine juice here, I show 120 calories, which is half a kilojoule, or 500 joules.
Okay... now the TimTams say that one cookie = 400kJ, which would be about 95,500 calories! 8> *ulp... ruffle*..
sooooooo..... I'm thinkin' they must mean joules even though it says kJ, because that would be more in line with a reasonable equation of 95 calories per each ... ^v^ ... *boggle*
